Your NPHS school counselors work in conjunction with the wellness center counselors to establish a support structure on our high school campuses focused on student’s mental health and needs.

There are various supports and services made available from the Wellness Center, which include:

Drop in support for students needing immediate social emotional support:

-       Self-initiated

-       Counselor/Administrator/Teacher recommended

Ongoing individual counseling sessions to support a student who has an identified mental health need.  Consent for services is obtained prior to initiation of service.

Ongoing small group counseling sessions to support students who want to work alongside their peers on various topics that currently affect teens. Consent for services is obtained prior to initiation of services.

If your student is wanting to participate in either our ongoing individual or group therapy mental health services at school we require each student to have signed consents by their guardian.

We are now offering our consents to be completed online which you can read more about below:

In an effort to build sustainable mental health and wellness programs in CVUSD which directly benefit your student, CVUSD is participating in the CYBHI billing opportunity. We ask for you to confirm your consent and collect insurance information, which you can provide through a secure and confidential online portal.

IMPORTANT: Please be assured that there is no cost to you. You will not receive a bill or a co-pay, and these services will not count towards or impact your insurance deductible in any way.
